I wrote this several years ago and decided to give it a remix. It’s in a fusion of soul jazz blues world and electronica groove. In that period Tim Shanasy, an accomplished Australian pianist from Byron Bay happened to be around Melbourne and played a piano solo that was captured on the recording. All the rest of the instruments and vocals were played by myself. I must mention Robert Pettinato who finalised some production advice on the mix and John Ruberto from Mastersound who mastered the song. LYRICS

DANCE TILL THE SUNRISE
When I’m with you
It’s like walking through a wonderland
All I need is to be with you
Around the town, we go
Together you and I
There’s a wide world in our hands
All this life and so much more

When I’m with you
All the stars tonight just seem so bright
There’s a jazz café
Down the street below
While the music plays
Let us dance away

Chorus
Can you feel the feeling?
Can you feel it
Can you feel it
Wo oh-oh-oh
Can you feel the feeling
Then we’ll dance till the sunrise

You can dance the blues away
On a night like this
While the music plays
Let us dance away

Can you feel the feelings
Can you feel it
Can you feel it
Wo oh-oh-oh
Can you feel the feelings
Then we’ll dance till the sunrise

Dance til the Sunrise (repeat 2)

You can dance the blues away
On a night like this
While the music plays
Let us dance away

To Chorus

  1. A cool refreshing groove , superb harmony arrangement and Piano Solo accompanied with a blues laden guitar creating a mix of fusion soul. Well Done.
