Firefly Soul is built on the belief that music is more than sound — it is an emotional and visual journey. Bringing together artists from around the world, the project reflects a rich tapestry of cultures and celebrates diversity as a unifying force.

Founded by producer, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Lenny Sharman, Firefly Soul focuses on creating music for art’s sake, free from the pressures of commercial trends. With years of experience in both performance and production, Lenny blends technical expertise with soulful artistry. His multi-racial background shapes a unique sound that fuses Eastern and Western influences, offering listeners something original, authentic, and deeply human.

Creating sound art in my own studio is both an escape and a gift. With ego set aside and without the heavy expectations of the commercial music industry, I focus on making music purely for art’s sake — an experience that is both enjoyable and deeply rewarding. Thanks to the rise of music technology in home studios, I can immerse myself fully in the process: blending the craft of multi-instrumental performance with the art of technical recording and production.

Rather than chasing trends or bending to genres designed for the masses, I let melody and rhythm flow naturally, guided by a soulful approach. Originality and authenticity are at the core of the Firefly Soul project. Being a multi-racial musician enriches my songwriting, allowing me to weave together influences from both East and West into a distinctive, one-of-a-kind  unique style.
